GUARDIAN AD LITEM Curriculum

This course will cover both the procedural and substantive changes within ICWA brought about by legislative  updates in 2015.

This course covers Nebraska's new Bridge to Independence program and is required for all attorneys who will be appointed under the new program.

The course consists of 3 modules:

GUARDIAN AD LITEM INFORMATION

The Nebraska Guardian Ad Litem Online Training is designed for attorneys who serve in Dependency Court.It Consists of 7 modules:
  • Pre-adjudication
  • Adjudication
  • Disposition
  • Termination of Parental Rights
  • Roles and Responsibilities of the GAL
  • Special Situations in Dependency
  • Guardian Ad Litem Reports to the Court

Completion of this course qualifies for 6 basic GAL credits.  Upon completion of this course you may also claim 6 hours of distance learning MCLE credits by using Activity ID # 97174 (Distance learning credits are capped at 5 annually).
